Privacy Policy

What Jaisal Tours does with your details. The short version: we collect what you send us when you enquire, we use it to arrange your trip, we pass on only what the camp, hotel or driver needs, and we never sell it.

1. Who we are

2. This website does not collect anything by itself

These pages are static files. There is no account to create, no payment taken on the site, and nothing is submitted to a server of ours. The enquiry form on our contact page runs entirely in your browser: it writes the message for you and opens WhatsApp or your email app, and you decide whether to send it. Until you send something, we have not received anything.

3. What we collect when you contact us

Whatever you choose to tell us when you call, message or email — usually:

  • your name, and the phone or WhatsApp number you contact us from;
  • your email address, if you write to us by email;
  • your travel details — dates, number of travellers, where you are staying, the vehicle, camp or package you want, and any special requests;
  • anything you tell us that matters for the trip, such as a health condition or accessibility need, which we treat as confidential and pass on only where it is needed to look after you;
  • details of the booking itself — what was arranged, what was paid, and any payment reference.

4. What we use it for

  • to answer your enquiry and quote a price;
  • to make and run your booking, and to reach you on the day;
  • to keep the records of bookings and payments that we are required to keep for accounts and tax;
  • to reply if you contact us again later, or to follow up on an enquiry you left open.

We do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them, and we do not add your number to any list.

5. Who we share it with

  • The camp, hotel, operator or driver for your trip — the guest names, number of travellers, dates and a contact number, which is what they need to hold the booking and pick you up. Those businesses handle that information under their own policies.
  • Our bank or payment provider, if you pay an advance, to the extent they need it to process the payment.
  • An authority or our accountant, where the law requires it — for example the guest register a hotel or camp has to maintain.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Phone, WhatsApp and email

When you call us your number is visible to us. When you message us on WhatsApp, the message is carried and stored by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, and we see it in our business inbox. Email you send us sits in our email account. We keep those conversations while they are useful for your trip and our records.

7. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you, and the fonts and images are served from this site rather than from a third party.

8. Hosting and links out

The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers keep standard technical logs — such as the IP address and browser making a request — for security and reliability. Those logs are the host's, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

Some links take you to other services: our Google Business Profile and Google Maps, WhatsApp, and our pages on Instagram and X. Once you follow one of those links, that service's own privacy policy applies, not this one. Reviews you leave on our Google listing are public and governed by Google.

9. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into bookings are kept while the conversation is still useful and then deleted. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for our accounts and for the periods Indian tax law requires.

10. Your choices

Write to jaisaltoursandcamps@gmail.com and you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will do that unless we are required to keep a record for accounts or tax, and we will tell you if that is the case. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will stop.

11. Children

We do not market to children and we do not knowingly collect their details. Bookings are made by adults, who give us the number of children travelling so that the camps, vehicles and safaris are arranged safely.

12. Keeping it safe

Access to our bookings, inbox and phone is limited to the people who run the business. No system is perfect, but we do not hold card details, and we do not keep copies of your ID documents beyond what a property requires at check-in.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details we will update this page. It was last updated on 18 September 2026.
